Privacy & data deletion

ScrewTube is a self-hosted service operated by its owner (“the site operator”). It is not run by a company and has no business partners. For any privacy question or request, contact the site operator.

• Your email address and display name, as provided by the sign-in method you use.
• Your saved designs and folders, including the Recent folder.
• Your access tokens — stored only as one-way hashes, so nobody (including the operator) can read them back.
• An activity log of your actions (for example sign-ins, saves, previews and exports), including the IP address and browser user agent. It is kept for 400 days and you can view and download it under Profile → Activity.
• Generated CAD files (STEP, STL, 3MF, GLB), kept for 7 days and then deleted.

Request bodies, passwords and token values are never logged. ScrewTube has no passwords at all.

Your data is not sold or shared with anyone. There are no adverts, no analytics and no third-party trackers on this site.

ScrewTube uses one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is set only when you sign in and is removed when you sign out. There are no other cookies, so there is no cookie banner. (Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.)

If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitHub or Facebook, that provider receives only the standard sign-in exchange (that you are signing in to ScrewTube), and ScrewTube receives your email address and name from it. We do not post anything on your behalf or read your contacts. Email sign-in links are sent through the operator's mail account.

Email the site operator from your account address asking for deletion. Your account, designs, tokens and activity are deleted within 30 days.

You can revoke access tokens yourself at any time under Profile → Access tokens.
